Ohhhhhhhh, Awwwwwww!!! That is what you hear at a baby shower, and rightfully so as those little socks and onesies are so darn cute! I love when I’m able to be a part of baby showers but was absolutely delighted when I got the chance to be a part of this amazing shower thrown by one very creative Mom!!
Lisa contacted me asking to come take a look at my inventory as she was interested in renting a few pieces for her daughters shower, I was so excited when she told me she would be doing a woodland theme with a vintage flare!!! She already knew that she wanted to use our “Audrey” tufted bench for her daughter Kelsey to sit on while she opened all those fun gifts but added in a few of our vintage baby items as well as our wood collection.
Our vintage doors made a great backdrop! Lisa already had this vision in her head, when we were loading these doors she told me she was planning on hanging a large “H” (for Hartley Rae…what a super cute name!! Good job Mom & Dad!!) on them and using them as the backdrop. I knew at that point that I was wanting pictures from this shower as it wasn’t going to be your run of the mill baby shower.
What is a baby shower without a Mama-Mosa bar?? Yes, I will have a Mama-Mosa or 2!! And what is a mimosa bar without a yogurt bar?? Lisa, you and whoever helped you plan this missed your calling as party planners!! Lisa also told me that her husband was making tree trunk stools with seat covers for the kids table. I’m pretty sure that you will be seeing some of these photos on Pinterest giving other people some woodland baby shower inspiration!!
Here are just a few more pics of the shower, I wish I was able to post all of the amazing pictures that were shared with me! Seeing these pictures makes me love what I do even more. While I do not get to attend these events, I absolutely love that I can help bring someones visions to life. These photos were taken by Jillian Rivera, a local photographer who captured these moments that Kelsey will look back on and love to share with her baby girl Hartley Rae.
No party or shower is complete without party masks!!
Everything about this shower was so planned out and no detail was left behind. I hope Lisa’s family has many more weddings, birthdays and babies because I would love to be a part of all their celebrations (we know they will be spectacular)!! Congratulations to Kelsey (and her hubby) and welcome to this amazing journey into Mommyhood!!
